Q: Can I resolve a comment or a comment thread after it has been discussed?
A: There is currently no resolve option.
Q: How do I mention another user in a comment?
A: Simply type the "@" symbol followed by the colleague’s name while writing your comment. A drop-down menu will appear to help you select the correct user. Once selected, the colleague will receive a notification.
Q: How can I find comments related to my activity?
A: By opening the Notification panel, with the option to show all the notifications, you can find all the comments you are related to.
Q: Where I can find the comment section
A: By opening an item/question on a checklist
Q: What should I do if someone mentions me in a comment?
A: You'll receive both in-app and email notifications when mentioned, guiding you directly to the relevant comment for immediate review or action.
Q: Can I participate in threaded discussions?
A: Yes, comment threads allow users to reply and engage in organized conversations within documents and checklist items, keeping topics clear and focused.
Q: Can some one edit or delete my comments?
A: No. Users can ONLY edit or delete their own comments.
Q: Can I @ mention more than one user at the same time?
A: Yes, commenting supports more than one @ mentioning at the same time in the same comment
Q: What are the permissions/restrictions for @ mentioning? Can you just tag anyone, or do only people with access to the crunch show up as options?
A: You can @ mention all users of a team, shared with, and PE.. the only restriction is that you cannot @ mention an unaffiliated user
Q: What is the difference between the notes and the comments?
A: While the notes are to record decisions about the document (and can be exported), the comments are a tool for discussion and workflows with the users on your team to collaborate. The comments are a centralize communication within the platform, making it easy to track decisions and see who’s responsible for what.
Q: Are red dots unique to each user? So if I get tagged, can only I see the respective red dot for that checklist item? Or visible to all?
A: The red dot and notifications are at individual user level. The other user are not going to see the red dot if some one tagged you on a comment.
Q: Is the ability to download the comments in a another phase? From an audit trail perspective It would make sense for internal compliance?
A: There is no plan yet for allowing download the comments. We will wait for user’s feedback to make an informed decision on this topic.
Q: Will the red dot be removed after I look at the comment/ open the section? If not, how is the red dot removed??
A: Yes, the red dot will be removed after look at the comment.
Q: How often will I be emailed? With each comment?
A: The emails are going to be triggered every 10 minutes. But if some one tagged you (via @ mention) in many comments within the 10 minutes, we will send an unique email with all the comments added in the 10 minutes, not an email per comment.
Q: Email VS In-App Notification - When the user will receive each?
A: The user will receive an Email only when some one tagged them on a comment. The user will receive In-App notifications when some one tagged them on a comment and when some one add a comment in a thread that is participating.
Q: How long can take to receive the email notification?
A: The system will trigger the emails every 10 minutes. If the comment was read before that, the email will not go out. Only unread comments will trigger email notifications.
